Posted by Hopeton on December 6, 2010

Cookie Ruiz, executive director of Ballet Austin will discuss the business of managing non-profits on one of the 3 segments of the December 6 edition of Economic Perspectives on KAZI 88.7 FM, 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m..  Listen live online at kazifm.org.

EP will also feature an interview with Dr. R. Roosevelt Thomas, author of World Class Diversity Management: A Strategic Approach and the debut of the new weekly segment, Young Money Today.

With demographic shifts and globalization transforming the nature of relationships, interactions, and decision making, excellence in diversity management is more important than ever. However, the field of diversity has no established standard for evaluating what constitutes best practices, nor has there been any agreement on what the most fundamental philosophies, principles, and concepts are—until now. In this pioneering book R. Roosevelt Thomas, one of our most distinguished diversity theorists and practitioners, proposes a framework that will enable the development of a truly world-class diversity management capability.
