Selden is the Senior Associate Commissioner for Consumer Protection and the Provider Ombudsman at the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI).  She oversees the TDI division that assists consumers with questions and disputes about insurance. Selden has a law degree from Harvard University and is a graduate of Leadership Texas and Leadership America.
